College is hard enough, so why should finding the right drugstore beauty products be hard? Not all of us want to live in sweats and messy buns everyday. Let’s make it easy to look good! There are many drugstore beauty products that are worth trying out. You can save some serious money by shopping for makeup on a budget. I only use these types of products, but it has taken me a few tries to find what works for me. I hope you can try out a few (or many!) of my favorite drugstore beauty products!
These are my tried and tested favorite drugstore beauty products! I do not have an affiliate association with Target. I actually use these products in my everyday life and stand by them all.
1) essie expressie Quick-Dry Nail Polish
This is my new FAVORITE nail polish! I am extremely impatient when it comes to painting my nails. Every college student is in a rush at some point or another, so it is crucial to find every short cut possible, especially when it comes to beauty products. This quick-dry polish is very high quality, and it truly does dry within a minute or two. (and, it’s vegan!)
2) Maybelline City Mini Eyeshadow Palette
This Maybelline pallet is my most used pallet! I have purchased this same exact one multiple times. Personally, I am super simple when it comes to my makeup, and this specific set of colors gives me everything that I need. I love that I can mix the colors to create a softer, everyday look, or even dress the darker colors up for a night on the town! If you don’t like this set of colors, there are many other City Mini color combinations to choose from.
3) e.l.f. Eye Brushes
For this time in every makeup lover’s life, money doesn’t grow on trees. e.l.f. is one of my favorite brands just because of the quality you get for the price. A college student is really only able to spend a few bucks on makeup, so e.l.f. really makes beauty possible. They are not top of the line products, but in my opinion, you can really make the most out of any product! This set is only $10.
4) Neutrogena Oil Free Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 Sunscreen
Skincare is definitely more important than you think, especially at a young age. We sometimes don’t realize how much sun we are getting just from everyday life activities. I use this moisturizer with SPF every morning. (you can also look for the same exact generic version, and its a lot cheaper!)
5) Neutrogena Skin Clearing Oil-Free Liquid Foundation with Salicylic Acid
As you can probably tell, I really like Neutrogena products. I definitely recommend this SkinClearing line of products. If you’re a stressed out college student, chances are you are probably dealing with stress acne. It is hard to balance everything in college, so it is nice to have products (especially drugstore beauty products) that help you when you need it most!
6) Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies Mascara
I stand by Maybelline’s wide selection of mascaras. Not only is it cheap, but it lasts a long time and really does its job, well! They have other versions (a ton) for everyone’s different eyelash needs.
7) Differin Adapalene Gel 0.1% Acne Treatment
College comes with lots and lots of stress, and with stress comes the dreaded acne. Like I said before, you will need to make the most out of your budget by purchasing quality products that will make your life easier! Differin gel is amazing for everyday use and helps fight stress acne before it even has a chance.
